Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is hiring a General Manager to lead a busy optical store in Georgia. You’ll drive results, coach a talented team, and create an exceptional experience for both patients and associates every day.

As GM you’ll own operations, financial performance, merchandising, training, and patient care, while partnering with the Doctor to deliver the highest level of care. You’ll set a positive, high-energy tone and lead by example.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of the optical industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and coach teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, train, and develop associates through coaching and feedback.
• Monitor store performance to deliver outstanding customer and patient experiences from start to finish.
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure every patient receives the highest level of care.
• Conduct store audits and uphold quality, merchandising, and service standards.
• Maintain open communication with the District Manager and provide accurate reporting.
• Ensure the store and facility meet corporate and safety standards.
