Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy optical store in Omaha. You’ll drive sales, coach a team, manage operations, and partner with the Doctor to deliver top patient care.

As GM you’ll oversee staffing, inventory, merchandising, and budget adherence while maintaining safety and brand standards. The role rewards leadership with competitive pay, bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of the optical industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, staffing, inventory, and policies.
• Lead, train, and develop associates through coaching and feedback.
• Monitor performance and drive exceptional customer and patient experiences.
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure high level of care.
• Conduct store audits and uphold standards.
• Maintain reporting and communication with District Manager.
• Ensure store meets safety and corporate standards.
• Execute marketing, merchandising, and promotional initiatives.
• Manage budgets, supplies, and store inventory to meet financial goals.
• Recruit and schedule top talent based on traffic.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain records.
