Job summary

LensCrafters in Franklin, TN seeks an Assistant Manager to lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager and act as a business owner within the marketplace. You will drive KPIs and customer satisfaction while supporting recruiting and training efforts.

The role requires a valid state Opticianry license (if applicable), 1+ year of supervisory experience, and strong English communication. Expect a competitive bonus/commission plan and comprehensive benefits in a fast-paced optical retail

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current state Opticianry license? (not applicable in US context)
• 1+ year management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence & oral communication.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Demonstrated high-level selling skills.
• Proven ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality & improvement to meet or exceed all KPIs: Comp Sales, % Sales to Plan, Conversion & Customer Count, Comp Growth, Increased Traffic, Store Operating Profitability, Continuity of Care, Exam Growth & Retention Goals, Net Promoter Score.
• Supports the store manager in diagnosing the business & leverage synergies of Retail, Lab & Doctor.
• Supports store business plans to maximize sales & profit.
• Leads a team with knowledge & skills; provides training & guidance.
• Delivers feedback timely and informs on disciplinary actions.
• Supports recruiting and staffing.
• Ensures compliance with company policies & procedures.
• Maintains store appearance and follows visual directives.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights & weekends.
• Performs administrative duties and ensures a safe working environment.
