Qualifications

• Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Understand store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for effective team management.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and progress monitoring.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.
• ABO and NCLE Certified

Responsibilities

• Drives, monitors, and achieves profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversees the eyeglass department for efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Conveys commitment to outstanding customer service across staff.
• Ensures quality standards are met.
• Manages merchandising, pricing promotions, and initiatives.
• Supervises Opticians and sales associates and day-to-day tasks.
• Forecasts staffing needs and assists in recruiting and retention.
• Leads and coaches staff to meet sales and service goals.
• Mentors Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
