Job summary

Warby Parker in Silver Spring, MD is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team for a New Store Opening. You will coach and guide the Opticians, consult customers, and uphold our high optical standards.

As a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified where required) with at least 2 years in management, you will drive eyewear sales, ensure precise measurements, and mentor staff while partnering with store leadership.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Experience in a management position for 2+ years.
• Strong leadership and mentoring with emphasis on optical metrics.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Lead and develop the Optician team and mentor apprentices.
• Promote exceptional service standards and loyalty programs.
• Coordinate store systems and inventory management.
