Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is hiring an Associate Technician to set up, operate and maintain lab equipment. You will interpret Rx work tickets, perform production operations and calibrations while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced lab setting.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain equipment in the lab area.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and perform production tasks.
• Calibrate equipment daily and weekly as directed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with supervisor.
• Prepare solutions/slurry mixtures and ensure supplies.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety procedures.
