Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking an Optical Technician to join our client’s optical lab in Tampa, FL. You will support daily lab operations and patient orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while delivering friendly customer service.

The role requires 1–2 years in optical settings, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. We offer a dynamic team, safety-focused environment, and opportunity to grow in optical lab operations.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment (≤140 chars).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks related to daily optical lab operations, production, and patient orders.
• Offer exceptional customer service by proactively communicating with patients or vendors about delays/issues with lens orders.
• Order lenses and frames from appropriate lab or vendor based on vision plan.
• Perform shipping functions including time-sensitive shipments and maintaining records.
• Unpack and sort inbound frames and lenses to in-house trays or ship to external labs as necessary.
