Job summary

• Experience with precision measurement tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complying with safety requirements and participating in safety improvements within the work center.
• Maintain area, tooling, and equipment to 5S standards.
• Adhere to processing standards and work instructions for consistent quality.
• Actively monitor optical processing equipment and respond to ensure desired results.
• Handle delicate optical components and identify abnormal characteristics.
• Identify and escalate any product or process quality concerns promptly.
• Learn and apply skills to tackle progressively challenging products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, output and cycle time.
• Collaborate with production engineering and manufacturing management to improve efficiency.
• Record time and attendance accurately.
• Document processing delays or quality issues in the shop floor system.
• Learn to inspect and map glass surfaces for minute defects.
• Learn to clean optical surfaces of particles and contaminants.
