Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Wilton, CT is seeking a Back End Nights technician to fabricate world's most advanced optical components used in cutting-edge semiconductor photolithography machines.

You will monitor precision processing equipment, load materials into coating chambers, grind and polish surfaces, inspect with metrology tools, and ensure a clean 5S work area while meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or vocational certification preferable.
• Prior use of measuring equipment desirable: microscopes, calipers, micrometers, CMM, interferometer.
• Participation in continuous improvement efforts (kaizen, quality circles).

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor optical processing equipment.
• Handle delicate optical components and identify abnormalities.
• Maintain area, tooling, and equipment to 5S standards.
• Identify unsafe conditions and quality concerns.
• Support production schedule execution and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering and Manufacturing Management to improve efficiency.
• Learn and apply skills to tackle progressively challenging products.
• Document defects and map glass surface defects.
