Medical Eyeglass Center, Inc. in Indiana is seeking an Optical Associate to join our patient-centered team inside medical offices.

You will guide patients through eyewear selection, perform fittings, and ensure accurate order processing. You'll maintain prescriptions, track insurance claims, and support lab orders, while collaborating with providers and staff to deliver an exceptional eyewear experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months optical experience requested.
• Familiarity with prescription readings and lens types.
• Experience handling insurance eligibility checks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with eyewear selection, fitting, and adjustments.
• Process orders through POS and maintain prescription records.
• Review lab orders for timely completion and accuracy.
• Submit insurance claims and follow up on receivables.
• Maintain inventory and organize displays.
• Coordinate with providers and administrative staff.
