Qualifications

• Retail or optical experience preferred.
• State licensure/Optician in Charge status as required by state regulations.
• NPI number and continuing education requirements maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead department sales growth through merchandising, pricing, inventory oversight and seasonal execution.
• Forecast sales trends and align assortments with member needs and local demographics.
• Monitor competitive pricing and adjust strategies to achieve financial targets.
• Develop and coach the optical team; hire, train, and manage performance.
• Ensure precise eyewear measurements, fittings, and contact lens education under supervision.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and uphold safety protocols.
• Coordinate with labs, suppliers, and optometrists on orders and status.
• Promote optical technologies to improve accuracy and member experience.
