Walmart optical department in Denton, TX is seeking an Optical Department Lead to drive sales growth through merchandising, pricing accuracy, and inventory oversight while delivering excellent customer service.

You will forecast trends, oversee fittings and eyewear measurements, and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation under supervision. The role entails coaching the team, coordinating with labs and optometrists, and promoting community outreach.

Competenze

• Option 1: Completion of 2 or more years of college.
• Option 2: 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Option 3: 2 years’ general work experience, including 1 year optical experience and high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Meets eligibility requirements to work in the Vision Center, including minimum age of 18, certification, registration, licensure, and other qualifications required by company policy and applicable regulations.
• ABO certification through American Board of Opticianry.
