Qualifications

• Completion of 2 or more years of college.
• 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• 2 years' general work experience, including 1 year's optical experience.
• Maintain NPI number and active state licensure as required by state regulations.
• Register and maintain Optician in Charge status.

Responsibilities

• Leads department sales growth through effective merchandising, pricing accuracy, inventory oversight, and seasonal execution.
• Forecasts sales trends and aligns product assortments with member needs, community demographics, and local economic patterns.
• Leads eyewear and contact lens consultations, ensuring members receive clear guidance on product options and visual solutions under applicable optometric supervision.
• Oversees precise eyewear measurements, fittings, adjustments, and contact lens education, maintaining safety and accuracy under applicable optometric supervision.
• Leads troubleshooting efforts for non‑adapt cases, under applicable optometric supervision, and coordinates communication with labs, suppliers, and optometrists regarding job status, product updates, and corrective actions.
