Job summary

Corning Incorporated, a world leader in optical communications, invites experienced professionals to support our Photonics Connectivity Solutions team in California. This role centers on customer and technical engagement with named key accounts, including on-site field trials and product evaluations.

The position requires deep product knowledge, teamwork across engineering and sales, and the ability to clearly present complex concepts to customers to drive adoption and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
• Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in optical fiber/components and data center connectivity.
• Experience engaging with Architecture, Engineering and Lab Technician levels in data center environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of Corning’s optical products and use cases.
• Support on-site field trials and customer product evaluations.
• Train, troubleshoot and provide field support for customer adoption.
• Investigate potential product issues on-site.
• Provide front-line customer inquiries and coordinate with engineering resources.
• Support customers on product/process changes, quality issues, and escalations.
• Collaborate with global teams to build customer relationships and gather market insights.
• Analyze product performance and report findings to stakeholders.
