Job summary

ASML is seeking a Back End Nights CNC Machinist in Wilton, CT. You will assemble cutting tools, program CNC controllers, and set up tooling and parts for high-precision optics manufacturing. The role requires reading ISO blueprints, measuring parts, and maintaining cross-shift communication and safety.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Associate degree in machining preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience with CNC machines.
• 3-5 axis machining experience or vocational certification preferable.
• Familiarity with Windows 10, MS Office and SAP.
• Experience reading ISO blueprints and using measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cutting tools into tool-holders and position them in spindles or magazines.
• Manually program CNC controllers and input generated programs.
• Set up tools and workpieces via CNC operation.
• Change tools and offsets to keep parts in spec and compensate wear.
• Read and apply ISO blueprints to part programs.
• Measure workpieces and verify settings, documenting actions.
• Maintain cross-shift continuity through clear communication.
• Follow safety procedures and report discrepancies.
