Job summary

ASML US, LLC — Wilton Factory Optics Fabrication is seeking a CNC Generating Technician for a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM, Wed–Sat and every other Sat). You will set up and operate 3/5-axis optical CNC machines, load CAM programs, and ensure parts meet ISO specs.

Responsibilities include tool setup, measuring parts, adjusting for wear, and maintaining shift communication. Requires machining background, basic math, and familiarity with Windows/SAP.

Qualifications

• High School, Trade School graduate or G.E.D required.
• Associate degree in machining from a vocational trade preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or vocational certification preferable.
• Intermediate mathematical skills including basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
• Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with Windows 10, MS Office & SAP.
• At least 6 months of CNC machines experience in optical fabrication.
• Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges.
• DMG, Hurco & Siemens control experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3/5-Axis CNC optical machining centers.
• Assemble cutting tools into tool-holders and position them in spindles.
• Manually program CNC controllers or load CAM programs (Mastercam).
• Measure workpieces and verify settings to specifications.
• Document actions and communicate across shifts.
• Follow safety procedures and company instructions.
