Shopko Optical in Wisconsin is seeking an upbeat front desk associate to support the Optical center team. You will greet patients, answer calls, book appointments, and manage patient files with a focus on accuracy and courtesy.

This role involves processing transactions in optical billing and POS systems, maintaining organized records, and collaborating across departments to ensure a smooth patient experience. High school diploma required; prior office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an office is preferred.
• Basic computer skills
• Able to handle multiple customer interactions/phone calls at a time
• Excellent organizational skills
• Able to work cross-functionally with excellent attention to detail and follow through
• Solid interpersonal relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers
• Answer the telephone in a professional manner
• Book appointments accurately
• Other duties as assigned
• Process transactions in the optical billing and point of sale systems
• Process medical billing information
• Organize and file patient and customer records
