Job summary

Walmart Optical in Rapid City, SD is seeking an associate to maintain merchandise presentation, stock and service in the Optical area, including measuring pupillary distance and assisting with eyewear orders. You will process sales, handle claims and ensure compliance with HIPAA and store policies.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with frame fitting, lens selections, and frame repairs, while coordinating with labs and optometrists for updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent to sit for ABO exam.
• Must obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Licensure requirements: ability to register and obtain state licensure within 18 months of starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist optical customers with eyewear selection, measurements, and repairs.
• Process ocular orders, payments, and refunds using the POS system.
