Job summary

Walmart is seeking a part-time Optical associate to maintain merchandise presentation, stock and price items, and support the Optical department with customer care and eyewear services.

You will assist with measurements, adjustments, and order processing, while ensuring HIPAA-compliant records and accurate documentation. This role involves dynamic customer interaction and collaboration with labs and optometrists, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise, set up displays, price signage, and handle damaged goods.
• Maintain Optical area cleanliness and organize shelves, process claims and returns, and manage inventory with POS.
• Assist with eye care products, measure and verify prescriptions, and help customers with eyewear purchases and fittings.
• Perform eyewear orders, inspect final products, and coordinate with labs/optometrists on product status.
