Medical Eyeglass Center is seeking an Optical Associate to join our in-office optical dispensary. You will deliver outstanding service, help patients select and fit eyewear, and work closely with clinic staff to keep operations running smoothly.

You should have at least 6 months of optical experience, comfortable with prescriptions, measurements (PD, seg height, optical center), and insurance claims. We offer comprehensive benefits and a patient‑focused team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of optical experience.
• Ability to read prescriptions and perform frame measurements.
• Familiarity with insurance eligibility checks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients from selection to fitting and adjustments.
• Process orders through point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain records of prescriptions, orders, payments, and claims.
• Review lab orders for timely completion.
• Submit insurance claims and post payments.
• Dispense eyewear and contact lenses where applicable.
• Assist with adjustments, repairs, and cleaning.
• Maintain organized frame inventory and displays.
• Support in-office promotions and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with providers, technicians, and staff.
