Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All Culture and oversee day-to-day operations and a staff of Package Handlers. You will ensure safe and efficient sortation and compliance with FedEx policies and regulations.

The role requires leading a team, coaching and training employees, analyzing performance, and driving improvements while coordinating with other departments to meet service goals. Schedule and safety are top priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Six months experience in package handler or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture and initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train and evaluate staff.
• Plan and direct day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff for safe, efficient sortation.
• Analyze performance and implement improvements.
• Lead daily staff meetings and communicate updates.
• Train new employees on FXG policies and safety.
• Mentor and develop junior supervisors.
• Adapt to changing business needs.
