Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All Culture and manage day-to-day operations with an assigned staff of Package Handlers. The role ensures safe and efficient sortation and compliance with FedEx policies and regulations.

The position requires leadership, coaching and strong communication; you will mentor staff, manage performance, and drive improvements in operational metrics while adapting to changing business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six (6) months supervisory or package handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret data and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as champion for FedEx Safety Above All culture and support related initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day operations and assigned staff of Package Handlers; hiring, training, coaching and performance management.
• Plan, organize and direct operations; ensure safe, efficient sortation and cost control; track trailers with linehaul as applicable.
• Lead daily meetings, communicate updates and goals; present to groups; mentor and develop staff.
• Ensure compliance with FXG policies, safety programs and training requirements; train new employees.
