Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team in a high-paced environment, ensuring safe and efficient sortation of packages. The role includes staffing, policy compliance, training, and performance management to meet daily objectives.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with linehaul as applicable, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining FXG safety standards and positive customer service outcomes.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in package handling or supervisory roles.
• Experience in fast-paced environments (retail, hospitality, fulfillment center, warehouse, dock, or stock functions).
• Military experience with honorable discharge or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, evaluate, and manage staff; address employee concerns.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyze performance and develop improvement plans to achieve results.
• Lead daily meetings for workforce communication and daily goals.
• Develop and administer safety strategies and programs.
• Investigate and escalate customer service issues as needed.
• Train new employees on duties and FXG policies and safety.
• Mentor and develop critical skills for Operations Supervisors.
• Adapt to change with urgency and maintain professional leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
