Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a respected hotel group in the Santa Fe area, NM. You will support hotel operations across Rooms, F&B, Banquets, and Facilities while modeling service excellence and professional leadership.

The role offers significant cross-department responsibility, budget oversight, and a clear path toward General Manager. A strong 3+ year leadership background in upscale hotels and relocation to New Mexico will be favored by the hiring team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in a full-service hotel environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple operational departments (Rooms, F&B, Banquets, Facilities).
• Experience with budget management, labor forecasting, and analyzing performance metrics.
• Strong leadership presence and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and make operational decisions effectively.
• Commitment to high hospitality standards and guest satisfaction.
• Experience in luxury or upscale hospitality environments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations including Rooms, F&B, Banquets, and Facilities.
• Maintain visible leadership and service excellence.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficiency.
• Monitor occupancy forecasts and event schedules to align staffing and service readiness.
• Escalate complex guest service issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in managing budgets, labor planning, and financial performance.
• Foster accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement among leaders.
• Participate in operational meetings to drive alignment and forward planning.
• Assume full operational responsibility in the GM's absence.
