You will review insurance benefits, prepare cost summaries, counsel patients on finances, and handle payments after procedures. This position requires flexibility, a patient-focused approach, and the ability to work across

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in financial counseling preferred.
• Experience working with insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgery, educate patients pre-surgery and coordinate with facilities.
• Schedule and coordinate pre-op appointments with patient or caregiver.
• Check insurance benefits, prepare cost summaries, and counsel patients on finances.
• Counsel patients on Physician Fee and Eye Surgery Center.
• Follow up on and collect surgery payments.
• Other duties as assigned.
