Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Clinical Practice Manager for the Ophthalmology Department. This role provides executive leadership to optimize clinic operations, patient care, and financial performance across multiple sites and service lines.

Responsibilities include staff development, vendor management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to advance patient satisfaction and outcomes in a high-volume ophthalmology practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA/MHA/MPH) or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
• 3 years of effective leadership experience in a healthcare environment with a Master's or 5 years with a Bachelor's.
• Experience in clinic specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee optimization, growth, and financial performance for multiple ophthalmology clinics.
• Foster collaboration between staff and faculty and implement staffing, workflows and recognition programs.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and risk management across the practice.
• Manage leases, equipment purchases, maintenance, and vendor contracts.
• Improve patient access, scheduling, referrals, and patient satisfaction metrics.
• Lead staff development, education programs, and credentialing coordination.
