Refocus Eye Health is seeking a friendly, organized Medical Group Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our ophthalmology practice. In person role across multiple locations, you will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify information, and assist with billing and insurance tasks.

You will work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing accuracy, empathy, and efficiency to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical administrative role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage check-ins/check-outs with clarity and compassion.
• Efficiently schedule appointments and coordinate provider calendars.
• Answer calls, manage messages, verify patient information, and maintain records.
• Collect co-pays, verify insurance eligibility, and assist with daily financial reporting.
