ReFocus Eye Health is seeking a friendly Front Desk Representative to greet patients, manage check-ins/check-outs, and support efficient scheduling in a busy ophthalmology practice.

You will handle calls, verify patient information, and maintain accurate records while assisting with daily financial reporting and patient advocacy. This in-person role supports a collaborative team across locations and emphasizes patient care.

Qualifications

• Reliable with a positive attitude and excellent teamwork.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in data entry and basic computer skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a medical administrative role with knowledge of medical terminology.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Be the patient’s first point of contact, greet patients, manage check-ins and check-outs, and answer questions with clarity and compassion.
• Efficiently schedule appointments, manage provider schedules, and keep the workflow running smoothly.
• Answer calls, manage messages, verify patient information, and maintain accurate records.
• Collect co-pays, verify insurance eligibility, and ensure accurate daily financial reporting.
• Address patient concerns, escalate issues as needed, and ensure a positive experience.
• Collaborate with providers, clinical and administrative staff, and external partners.
