Responsibilities

• Welcomes all patients and visitors.
• Answers and directs calls to appropriate departments.
• Triage patient calls to determine scheduling actions.
• Collects insurance information.
• Schedules appointments to optimize provider time.
• Assists with patient referrals and visits.
• Keeps knowledge of providers to fill schedules.
• Keeps patient records updated and confidential.
• Communicates with clinical and billing staff regularly.
• Performs related duties as needed.
