Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee all administrative and clinical staff in a fast-paced, residency-based, multi-specialty outpatient clinic. You will lead patient service, scheduling, billing coordination, and quality initiatives to promote safety and excellent service.

Responsibilities include staff hiring/training, managing daily operations, improving patient flow, and collaborating with Billing, IT, and Compliance to uphold clinic standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Three years related experience with supervision.
• Understanding of changing reimbursement policies and third-party reimbursement.
• Master’s Degree preferred (MBA or Healthcare Mgmt).
• Knowledge of medical insurance and terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinic staff and operations in a fast-paced outpatient practice.
• Ensure high-quality patient service and safety across administrative and clinical areas.
• Monitor patient flow, schedules, and billing processes with other departments.
• Hire, train, supervise, and develop staff including coordinators and technicians.
• Collaborate with billing, IT, HR, Compliance, and accreditation teams.
