The role includes coordinating patient flow, staff supervision, equipment maintenance, OSHA compliance, calibration tracking, and shift planning for doctors and clinics while guiding clinical leads and front staff to follow established protocols.

• Excellent communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care in line with standards.
• Be able to assist in clinic and front desk when needed.
• Answer patient questions and handle complaints.
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of clinic equipment and request repairs.
• Manage patient flow and coordinate with doctors when schedules change.
• Order back-office supplies and monitor inventory.
• Maintain OSHA policies, manuals, and permits (Bio Hazard and CLIA).
• Monitor calibration logs and train staff in calibration procedures.
• Review invoices for back-office supplies and submit for payment.
• Prepare shift planning for doctors and clinics daily.
• Approve time-off requests and manage the Time-off Calendar.
• Review overtime hours and adjust schedules to optimize staffing.
• Provide support to ophthalmic technicians, triaging calls and handling prescriptions.
• Mentor Clinical Leads and Front Staff to ensure adherence to protocols.
