Job summary

Johns Hopkins University’s Department of Dermatology seeks a Clinic Manager for its Howard County satellite practice in Columbia. You will oversee daily clinical operations, safety, staffing, and patient flow across general, cosmetic dermatology, surgery, and phototherapy.

Reporting to the Assistant Administrator, you’ll implement policies, supervise staff, train personnel, and coordinate with leadership to meet clinical goals and improve satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related supervisory experience.
• Must understand changing reimbursement policies and payer dynamics.
• Additional education may substitute for experience per JHU policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the satellite dermatology clinic.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures with leadership.
• Oversee staffing, including forecasting and yearly evaluations.
• Coordinate training and performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as Epic Super-user for EMR support and workflow changes.
• Monitor quality, safety, and patient satisfaction metrics.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and leadership to optimize clinic performance.
