EyeCare Partners LLC in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists by conducting initial tests and preparing patients for exams. The technician will handle data entry in EMR and assist with diagnostic procedures while maintaining patient flow and HIPAA compliance.

The position requires flexible hours, occasional travel to nearby offices, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k matching, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Provides excellent patient care and is empathetic with patients
• HIPAA confidentiality standards must be followed
• Strong communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
• Ability to adapt and grow with practice goals
• Willingness to work over 40 hours and weekends when needed

Responsabilités

• Greet patients promptly and professionally
• Assist physician to facilitate clinic flow
• Perform initial testing and ophthalmic duties
• Document medical history and visit purpose in EMR
• Record vital signs and prepare patients for treatments
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and equipment
