Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Troy, OH, seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists by performing initial testing and preparing patients for examinations. This role travels to Beavercreek and Centerville offices as needed and requires attention to detail and compassionate patient care.

The technician will work with EMR systems, record patient histories, and assist with a range of diagnostic tests including visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL master, and auto refractor. Full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum Required: One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• COA/COT certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and prepare examination rooms.
• Record patient history and current medications in EMR.
• Assist with diagnostic testing such as visual fields, OCT, GDX, and refraction.
• Verify patient information and schedule follow-up as needed.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and comply with HIPAA.
