Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists by performing pre-exam testing and assisting with patient care. The role requires traveling to Springboro and North Dayton offices in addition to Beavercreek.

The technician will handle patient history, vital signs, and a range of diagnostic tests, while maintaining EMR documentation and adherence to HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Current COA/COT preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and ensure smooth clinic flow.
• Assist ophthalmologist with examinations and tests.
• Record patient history and medications in EMR.
• Perform diagnostic tests (visual fields, OCT, IOL Master, topography).
• Maintain clean, stocked exam/treatment rooms.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
