Job summary

Alternate View, LLC in Indianapolis is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join a high-end optometry practice. The role supports the optometrist with diagnostic testing, dry eye treatments, and a premium client experience.

You will gather patient information, perform pre-tests, and help with telemedicine and records in the EHR system, while collaborating with the aesthetician for seamless service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the optometrist by conducting preliminary tests, assessments, and specialized testing
• Educate client on pre-test procedures; review Alternate View services and protocols
• Conduct dry eye screenings, addressing client questions and highlighting available treatments
• Maintain thorough documentation and accurate records in EHR
• Support scheduling, check-ins, insurance eligibility, and payments
• Collaborate with Alternate View aesthetician to ensure a smooth client experience
• Stay up to date with trends and technologies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of office
