Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support patient care in a clinic setting. You will greet patients, explain what to expect, escort to exam rooms, and perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, and lensometry, while updating the EMR and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities include assisting with minor procedures, educating patients on medications and pre/post operative care, and staying current with eye anatomy and ocular medications.
