Job summary

EssilorLuxottica’s Highline Vision Center in Aurora, CO seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to deliver high-quality eye care. You will assist with patient exams, manage records, and support the flow from front desk to doctor, using up-to-date ophthalmic equipment.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking in a fast-paced setting, weekend/evening availability, and adherence to HIPAA. Training and professional development are supported within TeamVision's eye care network.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year of strong customer service skills.
• Strong communicator and listener.

• Ability to use exam software, POS, and ophthalmic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams, manage records and patient flow.
• Perform preliminary evaluations including histories, visual acuities, refraction, and related measurements.
• Conduct special tests such as OCTs, biometry, topography, and retinal imaging/photography.
• Explain all measurements and answer patient questions.
• Maintain organized patient records in accordance with HIPAA and practice standards.
• Support scheduling and computer procedures; ensure efficient patient flow.
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff and patients.
