Job summary

Target Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to ensure patients receive high-quality ophthalmic care and a seamless experience linking the doctor and care team. Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care and eye exams, including managing patient records and supporting patient flow throughout the exam.
• Performs preliminary evaluations including patient histories, reviewing medication lists, visual acuities, motility evaluations, pupil/angle assessments, refraction, pachymetry, tonometry, and dilation.
• Performs special testing including OCT, biometry, topography, retinal imaging/photography.
• Maintains patient records and ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Supports scheduling and uses computer systems for appointment management.
