Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of strong customer service experience.
• Ability to operate exam software and ophthalmic equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care and eye exams, including managing records and patient flow.
• Performs preliminary evaluations: histories, medications, visual acuity, motility, refraction, dilation.
• Conducts special tests: OCT, biometry, topography, retinal imaging.
• Explains measurements and answers patient questions.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant records and scheduling.
• Supports weekend/evening shifts as needed.
