Job summary

Sight360 is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician Lead to supervise technicians, schedule staff according to clinic flow, and ensure high standards of training and performance. The role involves coordinating with physicians, managing equipment, and addressing patient and doctor concerns about technician services.

Ideal candidates will have COA certification, at least five years in ophthalmology, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum COA is required.
• COT is preferred.
• Minimum five years in Ophthalmology is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling of technicians according to clinic flow.
• Provide lead support to technicians and address concerns relating to performance and skills.
• Ensure technicians are trained and capable of performing procedures.
• Oversee training on EMR usage and HIPAA standards.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Coordinate with physicians on technician issues and needs.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding of new technicians.
• Manage clinic supply ordering and workflow improvements.
