Job summary

The Lead will collaborate with physicians, monitor charting and testing procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure HIPAA-compliant EMR usage.

Qualifications

• COA or COT certification preferred; state license as applicable.
• Minimum five years in Ophthalmology with supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience supervising clinic staff and coordinating technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead support to technicians and schedule staff per clinic flow.
• Ensure all technicians are trained and competent in their duties.
• Address patient and doctor concerns related to technician performance.
• Audit charts, perform time studies, and monitor coding support.
• Train new technicians on procedures and HIPAA-compliant EMR usage.
• Coordinate with physicians on technician needs and issues.
• Maintain equipment and order clinic supplies as needed.
• Oversee site policies, attendance, and dress codes.
