Access Eye Institute in Westlake Village, CA seeks a full-time Surgical Coordinator able to commute to Oxnard for training and as needed. You will schedule surgeries, coordinate with surgeons and facilities, obtain pre-op clearances and authorizations, and serve as the main patient contact through pre- and post-op care.

Responsibilities include updating medical records, educating patients on pre/post instructions, confirming insurance benefits, and handling admin tasks with strong bilingual

Competenze

• 1-2+ years of surgical scheduling or medical office experience.
• Ophthalmology or Retina experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Bilingual Spanish ability required.

Mansioni

• Schedule surgeries and coordinate with surgeons and facilities.
• Obtain pre-op clearances, labs, consent forms, and insurance authorizations.
• Act as main contact for patients through pre-op and post-op.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-op instructions and follow-ups.
• Verify insurance benefits and submit authorizations.
• Update medical records and surgical logs.
