Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete surgery and in-office procedure registrations.
• Meet office surgical volume metrics and goals.
• Obtain preauthorization of procedures as needed by insurers.
• Coordinate paperwork and electronic records; maintain patient charts.
• Verify insurance information and benefits; verify referrals.
• Verify patient insurance info for same-day appointments.
• Organize patient charts and gather information for upcoming surgery.
• Schedule pre-op visits with PCP, labs, and note in EMR.
