Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Ophthalmology OR. This full-time position works under the supervision of surgeons and nurses in a busy operating room.

The role requires completion of an accredited surgical technologist program (or equivalent training) and BLS certification, with 0–2 years of OR experience acceptable. The candidate will prepare sterile fields, assist during procedures, and help ensure patient safety and instrument readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program, or completed a relevant military training for surgical technologists, or equivalent training/experience.
• Prefer 1–2 years operating room experience; 0–2 years in related fields may be considered.
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsabilités

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
• Sets up the sterile field, including instruments, sterile drapes, and solutions.
• Follows state and federal regulations when attending to patients.
• Performs pre-procedure skin and body prep.
• Conducts safety checks on equipment and supplies before procedures.
• Assists with passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants.
