• Performs and records pertinent clinical measures to include Visual Acuities, Refractometry, Tonometry, Keratometry, Slit Lamp Exams, Visual Fields, OCT and other testing under supervision.
• Identifies patient’s complaint or reason for visit and ensures timely care.
• Communicates information to physicians and team members; prepares referral letters and dictations.
• Assists in patient education through brochures and videos; handles prescription refills for physician review and signature.
• Maintains professional demeanor and supports a welcoming environment for patients and families.
• Uses electronic health records and standard office software to support workflows.
