Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs and records pertinent clinical measures including Visual Acuities, Refractometry, Tonometry, Keratometry, Slit Lamp Exams, Visual Fields, OCT and other tests under supervision.
• Identifies patient complaints and assesses needs to ensure timely visits.
• Records medical, ocular, history and current prescriptions including glasses/contacts.
• Prepares referral/dictation letters and follow-up communications for physicians.
• Facilitates patient education via videos and brochures; handles voicemails and pharmacy calls.
• Maintains professional interactions to project a positive image and support quality patient care.
• Utilizes EHR, MedFlow, and Microsoft Office tools to improve efficiency.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and knowledge of OSHA/HIPAA regulations.
