Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• 1 year Ophthalmology/Optometry Office experience (Preferred).
• Ability to work under supervision and follow office policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs and records clinical measures including Visual Acuities, Refraction, Tonometry, Keratometry, Slit Lamp Exams, Visual Fields and OCT.
• Identifies patient needs and ensures timely evaluation.
• Documents medical histories, allergies, and current medications.
• Prepares referral and dictation letters; handles patient voicemails and calls.
