Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Greenwood, SC seeks an OPEX Engineer to deliver continuous improvement across manufacturing operations and plant maintenance. You’ll apply Lean, Six Sigma and process engineering to improve layout, material handling and equipment effectiveness.

Responsibilities include leading Shop Floor and Rapid Improvement Events, coordinating facility upgrades, and supporting MES and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience in manufacturing or operations preferred (1 year).
• Proficient with Lean and Six Sigma tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process improvements to manufacturing layout and material handling.
• Train operators on equipment, tooling, and procedures.
• Plan and oversee upgrades to the manufacturing facility.
• Lead Shop Floor and Rapid Improvement Events to reduce costs.
• Support MES implementations and Industry 4.0 initiatives in production lines.
