Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks an Operations Manager for our Greenwood, SC facility. You will lead two shifts, ~200 hourly employees, focusing on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement to drive $137M+ annual sales performance.

Responsibilities include safety enforcement, Lean initiatives, capacity planning, talent development, and daily Tier 3 meetings to monitor goals and metrics while coordinating across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years as a leader of people with proven results.
• Experience enforcing safety standards and PPE usage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce safety standards, PPE compliance, and incident investigations.
• Develop action plans from profit, SIOP, and capex targets.
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enforce personnel policies and nurture a compliant workforce.
• Serve as role model for Eaton’s values and ethics.
• Lead daily Tier 3 meetings, review goals and metrics.
• Manage production capacity and staffing to meet financial goals.
• Facilitate problem-solving and corrective actions for issues.
• Monitor performance and adjust tactics to hit objectives.
• Foster teamwork across plant operations and talent development.
